These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the EduFinder by Waystar website and services ("EduFinder", "we", "us"), operated by Waystar Learning. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The service
EduFinder offers AI-assisted college admissions guidance tools for students, including practice tests, college matching, admission-chance insight, course and extracurricular planning, essay brainstorming, and financial-aid forms strategy, as well as an AI-assisted grading tool for teachers. Our tools are educational and informational only. They are not professional legal, financial, tax, or admissions advice, and they do not guarantee any particular admission, score, scholarship, or financial-aid outcome. Our financial-aid tool helps you understand and prepare forms; we never complete or file any form for you, and we never ask for your FSA ID, Social Security number, or account numbers.
Accounts and eligibility
To use most features you create an account. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your login credentials secure, and to be responsible for activity under your account. If you are a minor, you should use the service with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
Purchases and payments
Our paid tools are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. Prices are shown at checkout before you pay. Payments are handled by our third-party payment processor, and payment availability may be limited in some regions. You agree to pay the price shown for any purchase you make.
Acceptable use
When using EduFinder, you agree not to:
- Resell, redistribute, or publicly share the content and results generated for you.
- Copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the underlying system or models.
- Misuse, overload, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service.
- Upload another person's personal information unless you have the right to do so.
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
Your content and intellectual property
You keep ownership of the information you submit. You grant us the permission needed to process that information in order to operate the service and generate your results. The website, our tools, designs, and templates are owned by us and our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the results we generate for your own educational and personal purposes.
AI-generated results
Results are produced with the help of AI and may contain errors, omissions, or out-of-date information. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any result before relying on it, especially for admissions and financial-aid decisions. Results are guidance, not a guarantee.
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any result will meet your expectations.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EduFinder and Waystar Learning will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the purchase giving rise to the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the service in a way that may cause harm or legal exposure to us or to others.
Changes to the service and these Terms
We may change, add, or remove features, and we may update these Terms from time to time. When we update the Terms, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. By continuing to use the service after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
