Who We Are

The story behind EduFinder and Waystar Learning.

Who we are

EduFinder, built by Waystar Learning.

EduFinder helps ambitious students and families handle five high-stakes jobs: practice for the Digital SAT, build a smarter college list, compare admissions odds, pick AP courses that fit a major, and find a college essay angle.

When someone pays for a service here, the result is specific: tests with explanations, matched schools, a data-backed report, or an essay idea board they can actually use.

Where we are

Built in Seoul, made for students applying to US colleges.

Seoul is one of the world's most demanding college-prep markets. We build EduFinder close to families, tutors, and academies that treat test scores, school lists, and essays as work that must hold up under pressure.

That context shapes the product. The site turns serious prep methods into plain-English tools for students and families preparing for US colleges, in the US and abroad, especially when they do not have a private counselor beside them.

How we know it works

Tested in classrooms before it ships.

Our team has spent years teaching high school students at U.S. boarding schools, U.K. public schools, and Korean international schools. EduFinder comes from the questions, mistakes, and decisions we saw students face again and again.

The question banks, shortlist logic, admissions comparison, and essay prompts were shaped through real student use, then rewritten when a step confused them or failed to produce a useful next move.

How we build

Built with data, AI, and educator review.

Waystar combines education judgment with data systems and AI models, then reviews the output through an educator's lens. The technology matters only if it gives a student a clearer next decision.

That is how EduFinder handles practice questions, school matching, admissions reads, and essay coaching: data can narrow the problem, but the final product has to make sense to a student and parent.

Who it is for

For students and the families behind them.

Big decisions in education are rarely made alone. A student picks a path, but parents, siblings, mentors, and friends all help carry it.

EduFinder is built for that whole circle. We try to make every tool useful whether you are the one studying, the one paying tuition, or the one cheering from the sidelines.

Available now

The services are ready to use.

The five services on EduFinder are live today: Digital SAT practice, college shortlisting, admissions comparison, AP course planning, and essay-angle discovery. Each one is built to give a concrete output, not just general advice.

We keep improving them based on what students and families need most, while keeping the promise simple: answer carefully, pay once, and leave with something you can use.
